Koko Hotel, which opened this year, maintains its signature minimalist design. The rooms are very quiet, and—though I’m not sure if it’s just my imagination—it seems to be intentionally located down an alley, so you don’t have to worry about hearing the noise of speeding motorcycles at night. I really like how the layout includes a large table and wooden chairs—it’s a bit like an internet café, but it’s actually very convenient for freely placing and organizing my belongings. Although there’s no closet, I think this design suits my needs perfectly. The location is actually less than a 10-minute walk from Sendai Station, which is incredibly convenient. The surrounding area is well-developed, with plenty of options for dining, entertainment, and shopping. However, perhaps because it’s new—

I stayed here for two nights with my daughter, who just turned 20 during Golden Week. It’s close to Sendai Station, and with restaurants and convenience stores nearby, the location is excellent. Since it had just opened, everything was spotless—not just the rooms, but the entire building, including the shared restrooms. I booked through the official website, so I received a complimentary gift of dashi and water at the front desk. I really appreciate that kind of thoughtfulness. Since there wasn’t a water dispenser, having that water was a real lifesaver. There’s an electric kettle in the room, so I assume the water in the bathroom is filtered—but I’m not sure

The newly opened KOKO Hotel is in an excellent location, just a five-minute walk from Sendai Station 🚉. Right downstairs is the Sendai Morning Market, where you can buy fresh fruits and vegetables 🥬.
